A) Thanks. I am looking forward to the year.
Q) Hey J-man!
Congrats on your recent wedding! I've only been married a short time myself and I know how incredible the feeling is to be freshly wed!
Aside from that, any news on what team you'll sign with for next season? There haven't been any "Joey Harrington visits with
--Dennis Reda - Ridgecrest, CA
A) I have been gone on my honeymoon which explains why not. I will be visiting some teams at the end of the week.
Q) Hello Joey,
I has been follow your career since you were in High School at Central. I am sorry to hear about your release with the Dolphin. I like your positive attitude and kindness. This quality seems to hard to find these day. I want to wish you a best of luck next season with your new team. I am looking forward to find out which team you will be with.
Oregon.
--Thanh Nguyen - Tigard, AK
A) Thanks a lot for the support. Hopefully, I will know soon where I will be next season.
Q) Hey Joey, I'm a huge fan from Eugene and I've been trying to find out if you have visited any NFL teams yet this off-season or if you know if any teams have shown interest in yout service? Good luck wherever you end up and I know you would be a great asset to any team.
--John Cullen - Springfiels, OR
A) I am leaving to visit some teams this week. Anything can happen so I can't be specific but I will end up in a good spot. Thanks.
Q) Hey Joey. I thought things were going to turn around in Miami. I thought you showed improvement and were going to be the starter for that team for a while. I guess it just wasn't in the cards. Keep your head up. I'm kind of biased, but I KNOW you have the talent to play in the NFL. What's next? Have you been talking to any teams. I heard some news that a Canadian team has your rights. Is this true and, if so, what does that mean for you? Thanks.
--Ryan Bloodworth - Eugene, OR
A) I just got back from my honeymoon and am leaving to visit some NFL teams and hopefully, something can be worked out in the near future. I don't know anything about a CFL team.
Q) I don't really have a question, I just wanted to send you best wishes Joey from Portland. I can't wait to see who the lucky team is that picks you up next. Father Kearns and I talk about you all the time. My Dad is in a band with him. Take care and I am looking forward to seeing where you will be next so I can have my Dad get me another Jersey!
--Tyler Niles 12
Portland, Or.
--Tyler Niles - Portland, OR
A) Thanks for writing in Tyler. If you have some musical talent and interest, I hope you get into the band too.
Q) Joey,
Sorry to see you leave the Dolphins but excited on what is coming next for you.
Growing up in Michigan and being a long time Lions fan it was hard to watch the all that went on there. I really thought the positive attitude, character, and leadership you brought was what was needed to get that franchise headed in the right direction and was sorry to see you go. Hopefully Marinelli will have some luck.
As I'm sure you know, the Lord has a plan for everyone and following his plan is the most important thing.
Good luck and God Bless!
Edd
Portland, Oregon
--Edd Zomerman - Irvine, CA
A) Thanks a lot. It's going to work out OK.
Q) Okay, this isn't really a question but more of a comment...All I can say is you truly have been my favorite quarterback ever! I'm a USC Trojan and I never could help but compare all of our quarterbacks, Palmer, Leinart and now Booty to how good you looked at Oregon. I've followed your career and become fans of teams, i.e. Detroit and Miami that I wouldn't normally have cared about just because you were playing there. I'm not disappointed to hear that you are moving on from Miami because I am a fan of yours wherever you decide to play. I was floored when you didn't get selected for the Heisman when you left Oregon because Lord knows you deserved it but it seems you're doing alright without it so all is good. Anyhow just wanted to let you know that you have a big fan here in Los Angeles! Fight On Joey!
--Anita Ibarra - Los Angeles, CA
A) After beating UCLA and SC during my college days I didn't expect much support from southern California. Anyway, thanks and I will be OK. It's just life in the NFL.
Q) Joey,
I heard a rumor that Toronto was asking about you and that you might be going to Canada to play. Is it true??
-Danielle Ross, The Woodlands, TX
--Danielle Ross - The Woodlands, TX
A) Haven't heard anything about it. Sorry.
Q) Joey, I am sorry about Miami. I have been your fan since you started at UofO. I am probably your number one fan in Michigan and my license plate is even personalized to read :Oregon3.
I have a lot of faith in you and your ability. I hope you do not decide to play in the Canadian League because I know you can make it in the NFL. You are the real deal and I know you will succeed. I am proud of you no matter what the outcome is and I hope you never give up and continue to be a positive role model for everyone.
--Nathan Proctor - Grand Rapids, MI
A) I bet you get a lot of questions about the license plate. I don't know about your comment regarding the CFL? It's not on my radar.
