Q) As someone who experienced a lot of success with the Ducks in the Pac 10, how is it living in the land of the SEC? My friends in the deep south love nothing more than to talk up their beloved teams, all I know is I am looking forward to Oregon and some of the SEC teams hooking up again in the future. Also, while I hate to see Wrestling dropped, how do you feel about the addition of Baseball to the Oregon sports landscape?

--Brett Laidlaw - Vernon, CT
A) Although we have only been in Atlanta for a few months we have a tremendous first impression of the city. People have been friendly, there is a lot to do and we are looking forward to seeing more of the South - time permitting. I would love to see some SEC games but that is going to be difficult with our practice and game schedule. Maybe I can make it to a game this year. It would be great to have a home and home with the Ducks and Georgia. Two great stadium crowds. I think Autzen would hold its own as Michigan found out a few years ago. I am a fan of baseball and am really happy the UO has reinstated baseball. Of course, I am sorry to see the wrestlers lose their program. Every athlete has tremendous loyalty to their school and the UO has a long and successful wrestling history. It's really tough for them. I look forward to UO baseball competing against the Beavers in a few years. That will be fun.
Q) Joey- Good luck this year with leading the Falcons to the Super Bowl! Gene W.

--GENE WILCOX - ST PETE BEACH, FL
A) Thanks Gene. That would be a great place to end up. I think we have the coaching staff to get this team headed in that direction.
Q) Hey Joey, congrats on the Falcons. I can't wait for the upcoming 07-08 season. I don't really have a question but i just wanted to say that I'm excited to see you run that field in Atlanta. Take care Joey hope you have a great season! Tyler Niles 12, Portland,OR

--Tyler Niles - Portland, OR
A) I can't believe it's almost that time of year, although we have been in mini-camps and work out since April. It takes a lot of preparation and conditioning to be ready for the season - especially when we have a new coaching staff and I'm new to the team. I really feel good and am looking forward to this year in Atlanta. But I'm also looking forward to coming home to Portland for July. Thanks for writing in, Tyler.
Q) Hi Joey, My name Marcus Brannon. I just graduated from All Saints School. I am planning on going to Central Catholic High School. I am looking forward to playing Ram football. Congrats on becoming an Atlanta Falcon, they are my favorite team. What is the best part of living in Atlanta?

--Marcus Brannon - Portland, OR
A) Hi Marcus. Good to hear from you. I know your mother lived right down the street from me growing up. It's great you are going to CC and you are going to play football. That will give you a great start in getting to know other kids and feeling comfortable with high school. Remember it's all about having fun at your age. I am really happy to be with the Falcons. My head coach, Bobby Petrino, is the cousin of CC's head basketball coach, Mike Petrino. What a small world. We are having a great time moving into our new house in a really friendly neighborhood. It reminds me of Portland in some ways.
Q) Hi Joey! How are you doing lately? I was wondering if you are going to change the site to JoeyHarrington13.com and who your favorite NFL team and NFL player were as a kid? Good luck this season and best wishes!-Ryan Feroni

--Ryan Feroni Jr. - Carleton, MI
A) Things are going great. I have been really busy this past month with workouts and getting set up in a new house in Atlanta and haven't had a lot of time to answer questions. I will try to be better about that. So far Atlanta has been fantastic. I like the coaches and the way Coach Petrino runs this team. Of course, playing for Bill Musgrave as my QB coach is a lot of fun with both of us former Ducks. Growing up I liked the Broncos and John Elway and the 49ers and Joe Montana. I think the website will stay the same even if I stay with #13 for this season. I shouldn't effect anything. Thanks for writing in and all the others who have written that I haven't had time to answer lately.
Q) Joey As a lifelong Falcons fan and Ducks fan since your era in Eugene I can't tell you how excited I am to see you in Atlanta. Are there any plans in place for any benefit panio concerts in the Atlanta area when you settle down? I wish you the best of luck in Atlanta and I hope you can make the best of your stay in Hot-lanta!!!

--Jordan Turner - Canton, GA
A) I think this is going to be a good fit in Atlanta. I am not sure that I can do a concert this summer because right now I am still trying to get situated in Atlanta with a place to live. Like last year in Miami with all the uncertainty of my move and a new team, it was really difficult to plan a summer concert. I did tape a show in February with jazz pianist, Judy Carmichael. She has a show on National Public Radio. Judy isa fun lady and internationally recognized. You can see more about her on her website at www.jazzinspired.com. I think it's going to run the last part of July and early August. Check the schedule. Hopefully, we are going to be able to put some of the music on my website. I am still going to keep trying to do some kind of musical benefit in the future.
Q) Joey, I just wanted to say Congrats on joining the Atlanta Falcons. It seems like a great sitution for you. My question for you is Why the #13? Is that just temporarily? Or will that be your number throughout the season? I wish you the best down in Atlanta and hopefully we can see you taking some snaps this year. Best of luck. Go Ducks! Go Falcons! --Brad Weclowski, Dearborn, Michigan

--Brad Weclowski - Dearborn, MI
A) One of the other QB's has #3 so I just took what was available. I am not too worried about a number. Right now, just learning a new play book is enough of a priority for me as I become a Falcon.
Q) Hey Joey, Will you have Atlanta Jersey's available on this website later this year? Best of luck!! Sheri C. Traverse City, MI

--Sheri Chiappini - Buckley, MI
A) I am sure the website will have Atlanta jerseys and other things available in a couple of months.
Q) Joey, Congratulations on the marriage and the signing with Atlanta. I think Atlanta and the offense they will run under Bobby Petrino will fit you well. I heard on a morning sports talk radio show that Petrino hand picked you to be a quarterback on his team. That has to make you feel good. What was the deciding factor for you going to Atlanta? Do you know much about Petrino's system. Good luck and I'll be a fan wherever you go!

--Ryan Bloodworth - Eugene, OR
A) After talking to Coach Petrino I had a very good feeling about him. His offense seems to fit what I do best and it will be nice to have a head coach who has a background in offense. I was also very impressed with the owner, Mr Blank, and of course, having Bill Musgrave as my QB coach was a real positive. It just seemed like a good fit.
Q) Hey Joey, Congrats on signing with the Falcons! That's really great!! Why did you end up chosing the Falcons? Did Bill Musgrave play a big role in your decision? Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication. We'll always be watching and pulling for you. Best, Nick

--Nick Scheidt - Boise, ID
A) Everything I had heard about Atlanta's organization was positive. Starting with the owner, to the GM, to the new head coach, to my position coach, it seemed to fit me best. I think it's a good thing to get in on the ground floor with a new coach - especially one who wants you. It will be nice to reunite a couple of Duck QB's. I am looking forward to working with Bill Musgrave.
