Q) Nice crisp performance Joey. "You gotter dun". Good job. Good luck next game.

A) This was a great win for us. Now we're heading north to Buffalo and your Canadian weather. It will be a good test for us.
Q) Hey Joey - Greetings from the Rocky Mountains! I just want to tell you how great it was to be home in Detroit on Thanksgiving day with my family and watch you beat Detroit mercilessly. That was the sweetest revenge, if you can even call it that. Of course my dad and brother were down because Detroit lost, but it was a good day for Joey fans like me. I've never been a Detroit fan, but I'd been a Joey fan since the day you were drafted. Good work and believe me I'm sure Detroit regrets letting you go. I also wanted to say, as the mother of a young girl, thank you for all of your work with the kids. It's good to know that there are athletes like you using your abilities to do good throughout the community. Best of luck on the rest of the season - we'll be watching on Christmas day, from of all places, Detroit. Michelle - Denver, CO
--Michelle Dieffenbaugher - Lakewood, CO
A) I have to say that I enjoyed the game a lot but in the NFL you only get a short time to enjoy a win and then it's on to the next game. The Detroit game seems like a long time ago already. Thanks for the nice words.
Q) MR. Harrington,
I have SVT and I play high school football. I recently had the ablation procedure. Did you notice any side effects the next season after your ablation?
Max Layman
--Max Layman - Tucson, AZ
A) Not at all. I had the procedure in the 12th game of my rookie season and then sat out the last two games just as a precaution. I had a few weeks of taking it easy after the season and then I never looked back. It hasn't been an issue and I am sure you will be fine. Good luck next season.
Q) Joey!
Man that was a great thanksgiving game. It really made my day. I've been a long time fan, and it brought shear joy to watch you play as well as you did against your old team. I wish the Lions had half the class you do. I'm on the last week of a long deployment that has taken me from Iraq to Afghanistan and I'm now on my way home. I just want to say thanks for being such a classy guy and I hope to see you in the playoffs.(i know one week at a time) Good luck against the Jaguars. you'll do Great i'm sure.
I do have two questions:
When are you guys going to wear the Orange Jerseys?
I'm sure its personal, but did Dre Bly have any thing to say after the game? Way to go after him.

A)
Sam ... Welcome back to the States. I appreciate what you have done for us all. It's got to feel great to be coming home again. It was a good win but we are on to another game this Sunday. You don't get long to enjoy a win in the NFL. I am not in on any decisions about uniforms and haven't heard about the orange jerseys. I didn't see or talk to Dre Bly after the game. He didn't seem to be around.
Q) Dear Joey, My uncle was a huge Detroit Lion fan before he died last year. Being a Giant fan, I never really rooted for them at all until you were drafted. I thought you were awesome in Oregon and you are still my favorite player today. I just wanted to say thanks for giving me and my uncle something to cheer for together, and wish you the best of luck in your career.
Matt Krosche, Pelham,NY

A) I appreciate your support, Matt. Thanks.
Q) Hello Joey;
My name is Daniel and I live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I am curious, and would like to know, "when" will you make yourself available to help the communities of Broward and Dade County? Many Dolphin fans ( including myself ) want to be able to shake your hand, grab an autograph
( if possible :) and just feel your presence along with Jason Taylor, or just being there with the Miami Dolphins! You are adored big guy, so get use to it!
You belong to South Florida now ;-)
Warm Regards;
Daniel J. Star

A) It's really difficult to get out in the community during the season since the only day off for players in the NFL is usually Tuesday. I am still trying to get familiar with the area since most of my time is spent at the Dolphins facility with football. I have tried to participate in some of the recent requests the Community Relations department has made of the players like the "Take a Player to School Day" (which I have done for five years now) and the Thanksgiving dinner activity at Dolphin Stadium. When I get more time I am hopeful to be more visible in the community. Thanks.
Q) As an Eagles fan I don't normally follow the AFC all that much, yet since learning about you as an athlete I feel that you are a role model to many children, and many other athletes as well, as to what a true role model is. I commend you for staying above the hype that can surround many people in your situation and you are a great example of what a pro football player can be. I am actually following the Miami Dolphins now! I was just wondering how you maintain your sanity and demeanor through so many trying times. Keep on doing what you do because you are great on and off of the field.
--Kimberly Walls - Lancaster, PA
A) Glad to have you as a new Dolphin fan. The NFL is a really fickle atmosphere. Sometimes it's unrealistic and particularly difficult. Even when you win! In the NFL you are only as good as your last game. With the tremendous exposure through the media and because there's a full week between games (unlike baseball and basketball), everyone gets to see multiple replays of all the games. The Monday Morning QBs can have a field day if things aren't going well. It's been said before and it's true - a QB gets too much of the credit and too much of the blame depending on the game's outcome. The only way I know to stay grounded is to just remind myself of who I really am. Football won't last forever so I need to enjoy it while I can but I realize that it can't define me entirely. Hope that makes some sense.
Q) Joey, CONGRATS on the big win! Sweet to see the 3 TD's, especially delivering that knockout punch on the last TD to Booker. I've caught most of the Miami games this year and your ability to move up and throw in the pocket has been a true asset this year. Awesome work, take care!
--Justin Pfauth - New York, NY
A) Marty made a really nice play on that third TD. I think I was so excited I just chased him into the end zone. We are fortunate to have a number of receivers who are able to make plays and clutch catches this year. It's a real change for me to have different options and it's just a matter of becoming more comfortable with them. Thanks.
Q) Greetings from Duck-Country, Joey! I have to say that Thursday's game was the ONLY game that you were actually responsible for Detroit loosing ;)!! We don't get to see many Miami games in Oregon and it was great to see that one! It's wonderful to see you playing again and to see the dignity and composure we've seen so many years in Oregon. It's also great to see your smile and the twinkle in your eyes back! Have a wonderful day and thanks for a great game!! M. Kirk Eugene, OR
--Zazzie Hathaway - Eugene, OR
A) There was something to smile about last week in Detroit for the first time in a long time. Go Ducks and Dolphins.
Q) I just wanted to let you know how happy and proud we are to have you in our Dolphin team! Congratulatios on your win over the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. You played wonderfully and I as well as all the other Dolphin fans out there were very happy you gave us a victory! Thanks for everything you do. It's nice to see you are using your popularity to help kids. The world needs more epeople like you. Congrats again on your win and best of luck to you on your future games! I will be cheering you on!
Take care.
Iliana
--Iliana N. Grana - Miami, FL
A) That's nice of you to say. I really enjoy being a part of this Dolphin team and appreciate the way the organization is run.
