A) No. I do not participate in any profile or interaction on "myspace.com". It is someone who is impersonating me. I am only active with my family foundation website. Thanks for checking.
Q) Hi Joey Like many Duck fans, I follow the ones that are in the NFL. I am an Oregonian (born in Springfield, raised in La Pine) that relocated to Reno in 2005. Im glad that your doing well and I hope that Miami is treating you well. It was so great to see you take the reins and run with them. Im sure this has been asked a million times, and Im sorry to have to ask it again, but, do you have a myspace account? So many people are posing as celebs so I wanted to ask just to be sure. Thank you for your time and enjoy Miami!

A) I have really enjoyed Miami this season. Thanks for following the Duck alums in the NFL. There's a pretty good number of us. And, yes, that would be someone posing as if they were me because I do not have an account.
Q) Hey Joey! I moved back to south Florida a year ago and was thrilled to find out you were going to be a part of the Miami Dolphins. You have been a great addition to team and I look forward to watching you guys play next season. Welcome to South Florida!

--Julie Chance - Hollywood, FL
A) It was a good year. I enjoyed becoming a member of the Dolphins. Thanks a lot.
Q) Hey Joey, Great to speak at you. My wife and I are big fans. We have followed your career since you were a Duck, we were season ticket holders and enjoyed watching you play at Autzen. We recently moved to Florida from Eugene and were happy to see that you got out of Detroit. Best of luck to you in Miami, we are rooting for you. GO DOLPHINS!!~

A) Thanks. I have said before that I continue to be amazed at where I run into Duck fans across the country.
Q) Everyone has been asking about your previous coach Nick Saban, but that's history. What kind of new coach would you like to see, and do think that will help you stay in Miami?

--Phil Goldman - Lake Oswego, OR
A) I have a contract with the Dolphins for next year. In the NFL nothing is guaranteed. Virtually anyone can be released or traded. Like every other player right now we are just waiting to see who our coach will be for next year. I have said before that I appreciate a coach who is in control and who is clear about his expectations. Coach Saban was certainly that kind of guy and I enjoyed playing in Miami this year.
Q) Hey Joey im 14 years old and I'm the QB for my eighth grade football team. I was just wondering if you had any tips on making me better... and how is miami? Hopefully they are treating you better than Detroit. You are doing great keep it up!!!!!

--dusitn hurd - CG, OR
A) Things are going well in Miami. I enjoy it a lot. First, make sure you are having fun. If you do it will be a great memory as you get older. Second, make sure you learn not only what you need to do as a QB but you need to learn everyone else's assignments. That's really important if you are going to continue to play QB. To be successful you have to be willing to work extra at the things that are not your strengths. That usually separates the young players who just say they want to play and those who prepare themselves to play. Good luck.
Q) Joey, Great season so far, since you became the starter! Two quick questions: What's it like using the in-helmet communication system with the coaches? Also, do you track down and try to talk to other Duck players on opposing teams when you play them? During warm ups or something like that? Keep up the great work, it's a pleasure to see the "real" Joey in the NFL. Go Ducks! -Jason in Portland.

--Jason Reed - Portland, OR
A) As you know the miked helmet is only used in the NFL and only for the QB. The coach can signal in a play using the audio but the QB can only listen. It helps in a lot of situations and you get used to it quickly. I try to look up as many Duck players as I can. It's tough before a game but sometimes you can cross paths during individual warm ups before you get into the team drills. After the game QB's usually make an effort to look each other up on the field. Most of us know each other. I saw Kellen when we played the Jets in NY. If there are Ducks on the other team we will usually wait around for each other after the game if we can. Of course, Justin Peelle and I are great friends and teammates now so we see each other every day! There are five of us from my class still playing in the NFL, including Wes, Rashad and Maurice.
Q) Great game on Sunday, Joey! My husband and I flew down from NC to watch you guys and I have to say we had a great experience. We enjoyed watching you play and plan to attend many more games. Good luck with the rest of the season! Wendy--Dallas, NC

A) Glad to have you as a Dolphin fan. Thanks for coming down and I hope we give you a reason to come down again.
Q) Joey, I just wanted to say that I graduated from UO in 2002 and so I’ve always been a big fan of yours, not just because you’re a great quarterback but also because it seems like you’re a really nice guy. The way you handled everything that hapened in Detroit showed a lot of integrity and strength of character. Seeing you play at Oregon, I’ve always known you’re an amazing football player, I’m just so glad you’re finally with a team that is giving you the opportunity to show everyone just how great you are. Whether it’s taking the high road in tough situations or doing charity work on your off time, you seem to be the rare combination of talented football player and good person, and I greatly admire that. No matter what’s going on in the tremulous world of the NFL just know that you have fellow Ducks who are always rooting you on.

--Jill Peterson - Kentfield, CA
A) I have said for a long time that I really appreciate the loyalty of the UO Duck fans. Hopefully, I can continue to give the Duck fans something to cheer about from as far away as you can get from Oregon out here in sunny Miami. Thanks.
Q) Good game yesterday joey....hope you and your team can somehow get in the playoffs!!!

--mike crabtree - morgantown, AK
A) We're still going to play like it will happen for us. Thanks.
